The Pediatric Neurologist is responsible for delivering general clinical care with a specialized focus on diagnosing and managing neurological disorders in children and adolescents. Main Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological and general medical examinations for pediatric patients.
  • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, developmental disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and headache syndromes in children.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Prescribe medications, recommend therapeutic interventions, and monitor treatment progress.
  • Interpret neurodiagnostic test results, including EEG, MRI, and laboratory tests as part of clinical evaluations.
  • Provide clear medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care requirements.
