Job overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team at GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders in children including diabetes growth disorders thyroid issues and adrenal and pituitary gland disorders. This role requires an individual who is passionate about pediatric care and committed to advancing health outcomes through innovative treatment plans and the use of advanced healthcare technologies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose treat and manage pediatric endocrine disorders including but not limited to diabetes thyroid dysfunction growth disorders and other hormonal imbalances in children.

Pediatric Diabetes Management:

  • Provide specialized care for children with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes including insulin therapy continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and lifestyle counseling.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work alongside a team of healthcare professionals including pediatricians dieticians diabetes educators and other specialists to deliver integrated holistic care.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage AI-powered tools digital health platforms and remote monitoring systems to improve patient outcomes and provide data-driven care.

Patient and Family Education:

  • Educate children and their families on managing endocrine disorders promoting a better understanding of treatment lifestyle modifications and long-term health outcomes.
  • Research and Development: Stay current with the latest advances in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes care contributing to clinical discussions and innovation in treatment practices.

Follow-Up and Monitoring:

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with patients to track progress make necessary adjustments to treatment plans and provide continuous support.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.

Understand follow and support all hospital infection control programs


Requirements

Education:

  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Certification:

  • Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Pediatric Endocrinologist with a focus on managing diabetes and other endocrine disorders in children.

Licensing:

  • Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a Pediatric Endocrinologist in Dubai.

Technological Proficiency:

  • Comfortable using advanced technology including electronic health records (EHR) remote patient monitoring tools and AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Skills:

  • Expertise in managing pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills particularly in educating young patients and their families.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Cultural Awareness: Prior experience in the Middle East is preferred but not required.
