Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a seasoned Pre Delivery Inspection Manager to lead all PDI activities for multibrand operations. You will drive Lean initiatives, develop a competence center, and ensure cost-effective processes that enhance customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include establishing strategies, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering or Automotive, with a post-graduate diploma in Business Management is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an Automotive After Sales environment, with distributor and OEM experience preferred.
• Experience in Kaizen, Project Management, Supply Chain Planning, Distribution, and Analytics.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, inventory and supply chain management principles, and Lean Production methodology.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement Multibrand ASU PDI strategy focused on productivity, customer processes and cost efficiency.
• Adopt Lean Production to optimize takt time and cost.
• Drive the creation of a PDI competence centre to maximize customer satisfaction while reducing costs.
• Design and implement systems for improved customer satisfaction and end-to-end processes.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships through responsiveness and accountability.
• Execute project plans within timelines and budget, monitoring progress and milestones.
• Manage P&L budget and key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Implement cost management and procurement strategies for long-term savings.
• Adjust operational processes based on performance reports to maintain strategic direction.
• Define metrics and monitor controls to assess facility performance.
• Implement 5S and Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop talent through development plans and succession planning.
