Job summary

Top Notch Consultancy seeks a PDI Manager to lead a team on-site in Doha, Qatar. You will oversee Pre-Delivery Inspections for new vehicles, perform brief test-drives, and ensure quality standards before delivery.

You will drive process improvements, generate detailed PDI reports, and coordinate with Delivery, Sales and Service to align on requirements. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in an automotive service/inspection setting.
• 3–5+ years in automotive service or inspection roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication across departments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technicians responsible for Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new vehicles.
• Conduct brief test-drives and exterior inspections to identify transit damage.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and detailed to high standards before delivery to stockyard/Sales.
• Generate detailed reports and track trends from PDIs; escalate issues.
• Coordinate with Delivery, Sales and Service to incorporate needs into the PDI process.
• Maintain records of PDIs and new vehicle arrivals; monitor KPIs (completion rate, time, customer satisfaction).
• Control expenses and manage PDI department income statements to ensure profitability.
