Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review designated complaint channels and respond daily.
• Conduct inspections in residential communities per plan and KPIs.
• Raise awareness and ensure compliance with community regulations (occupant limits).
• Contribute to development, updating and review of rules and procedures for Community Compliance.
• Record residential unit data, verify against systems, issue violations or warnings as needed.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance practices.
• Coordinate and track warnings/penalties; ensure corrective actions and timely resolutions.
• Prepare inspection reports with observations, evidence, analysis, and recommendations.
• Produce regular and ad hoc management reports as required.
• Coordinate with government authorities and stakeholders for effective communication.
• Identify process improvement and digitalisation opportunities for inspections.
• Review reports from developers and determine appropriate actions.
• Follow established inspection protocols and collect required evidence.

About Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation:

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) was officially established in 2001, under the authority of the Dubai Government. There are a number of entities and institutions operating under its umbrella, including Port Rashid, Jebel Ali Port, Al Hamriya Port, which are managed by Dubai Ports Authority, in addition to the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime Authority and the Office of the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, as well as the investment arm and security arm of the corporation, represented by Investment Department and Security Department.

• Review the section's designated channels for complaints and concerns, and respond to them on a daily basis.
• Conduct inspections within residential communities in accordance with the approved inspection plan and established service KPIs.
• Participate in raising awareness of and ensuring compliance with community regulations, including requirements relating to the permitted number of occupants in residential units.
• Contribute to the development, updating and review of rules, regulations, guidelines and procedures relating to Community Compliance requirements for residential units, in accordance with applicable local, federal and international requirements.
• Accurately record residential unit data after verifying it against relevant client information systems, and issue violations or warnings in cases of non-compliance, ensuring accurate and timely enforcement.
• Provide guidance to Community Compliance teams on applicable regulatory requirements and compliance practices.
• Coordinate and track all issued warnings and penalties, ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken and cases are resolved in accordance with established regulations and procedures.
• Prepare and document inspection reports with accurate observations and supporting evidence, including relevant analysis, findings and recommendations.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and other relevant stakeholders, as required.
• Coordinate with government authorities and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on Community Compliance matters.
• Support the identification of process improvement and digitalisation opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection activities.
• Review action reports received from developers, update the relevant inspection results and agree on the appropriate course of action, where required.
• Comply with established inspection protocols when delivering services and ensure that all required evidence is collected during the initial inspection.

Required (Minimum Experience):

A minimum of one year's experience in Community Compliance and/or inspections.

Required (Minimum Qualification):

High School Certificate or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Community Compliance, regulatory compliance or inspections conducted by or in coordination with relevant authorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certification issued by a competent authority and/or other industry-recognised professional certifications.
