Job summary

???? Role Snapshot: Payroll Specialist

Are you someone who lives for accuracy, thrives on details, and enjoys making sure people are paid right — and on time? We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist who’s sharp, proactive, and ready to take ownership of payroll operations at Wio.

You’ll be joining our People & Culture team, playing a key role in delivering smooth payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting our amazing employees.

???? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running the end-to-end monthly payroll process — accurately, on time, and in line with regulations.
  • Making sure all the right stuff is in place: salaries, bonuses, deductions, leave balances, gratuity — you name it.
  • Collaborating with Finance and HR to reconcile data and generate reports.
  • Keeping employee payroll records secure, updated, and confidential.
  • Staying on top of labor laws, GOSI, and all other relevant regulations.
  • Supporting HR operations for new joiners, leavers, and employee status changes.
  • Being the go-to person for any payroll-related employee queries.
  • Getting involved in audits, reporting, and exploring automation and process upgrades.

???? What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Admin, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or finance
  • A solid grip on labor laws and payroll regulations
  • Super detail-oriented, discreet, and accurate
  • Comfortable with Excel — and if you’ve used SAP, Oracle, ADP or any payroll tech, that’s a bonus
  • ️ Strong communicator in English (Arabic is a plus!)
  • Team player, but also confident working independently
