Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring full compliance with labor laws and internal policies. You will work closely with HR and Finance teams to support a seamless and efficient payroll operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process payroll on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, as per company structure.
  2. Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, tax regulations, and internal payroll policies.
  3. Maintain and monitor timekeeping and attendance systems to track working hours, overtime, leaves, and absences.
  4. Calculate salaries, bonuses, benefits, and deductions accurately.
  5. Manage payroll deadlines effectively, ensuring timely reporting and submission of all payroll-related documents.
  6. Prepare and distribute pay slips and salary statements.
  7. Handle employee inquiries related to salaries, deductions, benefits, and taxes.
  8. Coordinate with HR for onboarding, offboarding, salary adjustments, and leave accruals.
  9. Generate payroll reports for finance, audit, and internal purposes.
  10. Assist with end-of-service benefit calculations and final settlements.
  11. Liaise with government bodies for WPS, Pension Fund Contributions, and other statutory filings.
  12. Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
  13. Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. 2–5 years of hands-on payroll experience in UAE.
  3. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and UAE labor regulations (WPS, gratuity, etc.).
  4. Proficient in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP, QuickBooks).
  5. Currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
  6. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in multinational or large-scale organizations.
  2. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
  3. Good understanding of UAE labor law and payroll compliance.
