MM Agency in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations, ensure accurate compensation, and maintain compliance with applicable policies. You will manage end-to-end payroll processes, including salaries, deductions, leaves, and statutory contributions, while protecting confidentiality.
You will collaborate with HR, finance, benefits, and service providers to resolve discrepancies, prepare payroll reports, and support audits.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with applicable policies and requirements. The role is responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate employee compensation data, reviewing payroll calculations, and ensuring effective payroll controls.
Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing, reviewing salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, benefits, leave, and statutory contributions, and ensuring payroll records are complete and accurate. The Payroll Manager will work closely with HR, finance, benefits, and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies, coordinate employee changes, and maintain smooth payroll operations.
The role also involves managing payroll calendars, preparing payroll reports, reconciling payroll accounts, supporting audits, monitoring compliance requirements, managing payroll vendors or systems, and identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes. Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Strong understanding of payroll administration, payroll accounting, employee compensation, deductions, benefits, and statutory requirements.
Ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll preparation, validation, approval, processing, and reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, allowances, deductions, leave, benefits, and employee changes.
Ability to review payroll calculations and identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions before payroll completion.
Good understanding of payroll compliance, tax requirements, statutory contributions, employment regulations, and internal payroll policies.
Strong knowledge of payroll reconciliations, payroll journals, general ledger postings, and payroll reporting.
Ability to manage payroll calendars, deadlines, approvals, controls, and documentation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate payroll teams and ensure accurate and timely processing.
Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, finance, benefits, managers, employees, auditors, and payroll service providers.
Familiarity with payroll systems, HRIS, time-and-attendance platforms, ERP systems, and payroll reporting tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prepare payroll reports, variance analyses, management summaries, and audit documentation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive payroll inquiries professionally.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and discretion when handling employee compensation information.
