The Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate payroll operations across our operating markets.

Working closely with HR, Finance, local stakeholders, and external providers, this role will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with applicable local requirements and Company policies. The role will also support benefits administration, employee expenses, payroll reporting, and continuous improvement of related processes.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations

• Manage and /or coordinate end-to-end payroll across multiple markets and entities.
• Process and validate salaries, hourly wages, commissions, bonuses, allowances, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll adjustments.
• Review attendance, leave, new joiners, leavers, compensation changes, and other payroll inputs.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies before payroll finalization.
• Coordinate final settlements and other payroll requirements for departing employees.
• Coordinate payroll-related benefits, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Oversee employee expense and reimbursement processing, ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals.
• Maintain accurate compensation and payroll records and respond to employee payroll-related queries.

Compliance, Reporting & Coordination

• Ensure payroll processes align with applicable local employment, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, local teams, and external payroll providers across different markets.
• Prepare payroll, headcount, compensation, benefits, and employee-cost reports.
• Maintain appropriate payroll controls and supporting documentation and assist with audits as required.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve payroll processes across markets.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in payroll management or senior payroll operations, ideally across multiple countries or entities.
• Ability to manage large volumes of payroll data accurately and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll, reconciliations, controls, and reporting.
• Experience with commissions, variable compensation, benefits, and expense management is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Good understanding of payroll-related employment, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across different markets, teams, and external providers.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ownership.
• Proficiency in Arabic, both written and spoken, is preferred.
