We are seeking a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join us as a Payment Program Manager for the Last Mile team supporting a new and exciting last mile channel.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, Business Coach (BC), On the Road (OTR), Central Operations (CO), ACES, and DSP Program Managers in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing hands-on support to ensure accounts are accurately set up, payments are processed on time, managing invoice queries and exceptions, and achieving WW Parity in processes and technology.

You will analyze payment processes, bank information, invoice data, and classifications to identify issues and root causes. You will play a key role in understanding, analyzing, and improving payment failure reasons and in building robust logic to prevent future issues.

Key job responsibilities

  • Ensure timely establishment of Last Mile account creation
  • Set up payment processes specific to the Last Mile Channel
  • Achieve WW Parity in processes and technology
  • Perform financial reviews for DSP partners across MENA
  • Address supplier-related issues to satisfactory resolution
  • Interpret commercial contracts and their application to invoices
  • Understand the 3-way matching process and related finance policies
  • Maintain accuracy of costs in the General Ledger for correct accounting
  • Set up new accounts in procure-to-pay systems
  • Partner with Finance, Program, and Account Management teams, as well as third-party vendors, to ensure timely onboarding and payments
  • Support and resolve invoice queries within SLAs
  • Track metrics and generate reports for leadership
  • Propose process improvements for payment and invoicing processes

A day in the life

The Payments Program Manager will oversee daily SOPs for payments, drive issue resolution through stakeholder management, and influence outcomes. They will generate reports, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with teams to identify root causes of payment issues, working cross-functionally to implement sustainable solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
  • Experience in defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of end-to-end delivery experience and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of process improvement experience
  • Stakeholder management experience with multiple organizational levels
  • Experience in process building, project management, and scheduling
