We are seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join us as a Payment Program Manager for the Last Mile team, supporting a new and exciting last mile channel.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Business Coach (BC), On the Road (OTR), Central Operations (CO), ACES, and DSP Program Managers in a fast-paced last-mile organization. This role involves providing hands-on support to ensure accounts are accurately set up, payments are processed on time, managing invoice queries and exceptions, and achieving WW Parity in processes and technology.

You will analyze the payment system to understand payment processes, bank information, invoice data, and classifications to identify issues and root causes. You will play a key role in understanding, analyzing, and improving payment failure reasons and supporting the development of robust logic to prevent future issues.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Provide best-in-class support to ensure Last Mile account creation is timely.
  2. Set up payment processes unique to the Last Mile Channel.
  3. Achieve WW Parity in processes and technology.
  4. Execute financial reviews for DSP partners across MENA.
  5. Resolve supplier-related issues satisfactorily.
  6. Interpret commercial contracts and their application to invoices.
  7. Understand the 3-way matching process and finance policies around resolutions.
  8. Maintain accuracy of costs in the General Ledger for correct accounting treatment.
  9. Set up new accounts in procure-to-pay systems.
  10. Partner with Finance Program, Account Management functions, and third-party vendors to ensure timely onboarding and payments.
  11. Support and resolve invoice queries within internal SLAs.
  12. Track metrics and generate reports for leadership.
  13. Proactively suggest process improvements for payment and invoicing processes.
A day in the life

The Payments Program Manager will manage daily SOPs related to payments, drive issue resolution through stakeholder management, generate and verify reports, and collaborate with teams to identify root causes of payment challenges, working cross-functionally to develop sustainable solutions.

Minimum requirements
  • 3 years of program or project management experience.
  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 3 years of experience defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience in defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements.
  • 3 years of experience managing end-to-end delivery and reporting results to senior leadership.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and scheduling.
