The role requires 8+ years in project management in banking, strong knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, and a proven ability to deliver complex systems with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in banking and payments.
• Proven experience delivering payment projects within the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border payments, SWIFT, RTGS, ACH.
• Exposure to core banking implementations, migrations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Experience: 10+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Payment Project Manager with strong expertise in banking and payment transformation projects to lead end-to-end project delivery in the UAE.

Mandatory - SWIFT, RTGS, ACH

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end payment projects, system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Manage project planning, execution, budgets, risks, and governance.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive payment transformation initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of project management experience, preferably in banking and payments.

Proven experience delivering payment projects within the GCC region.

Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border payments, SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, clearing, and settlement.

Exposure to core banking implementations, migrations, upgrades, or transformation programs.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications will be an added advantage.
