Job summary

HYDE Dubai is seeking a highly organized General Cashier / Paymaster to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will manage cash transactions, process payroll, and maintain accurate financial records to support management decisions.

You will operate POS systems, prepare regular reports, and help with budgeting while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies. A diligent, detail-oriented professional with strong English skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience with the Oasys System is a MUST.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role
• Proven experience in cash handling and financial record-keeping
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
