Job description

Patient Cordinator

Patient Coordinator is a doctor to patient video consultation platform, giving patients access to quality advice from the comfort of their home or on the go. As a telemedicine provider you will use video consultation to take a patient history, perform an exam and recommend a treatment plan for patients.

You will treat patients with non-urgent health conditions and ongoing health issues. As a telemedicine provider you will be at the forefront of healthcare innovation and will be providing patients with care that is often more affordable and efficient than a traditional in-person visit.

Also, to ensure provision of quality health care to the UAE population and provide a proactive approach to the practice of medicine via health promotion and education.

What you do

  • Conduct patient consultations via telehealth for illness or injury, plan and provide treatment in the form of medicines and therapies or refer to specialists where necessary.
  • Practice active listening and excellent communication skills with patients and their families, addressing patient concerns as the highest priority.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise and hygiene.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of patient’s history, findings and test results.
  • Order laboratory tests and interpret test results in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in clinical programs and conduct self-directed projects.
  • Support in vertical and horizontal expansion of the business.
  • Support management in maintaining documentation and conducting quality assurance.

What you bring

  • Education : MD / MBBS or equivalent
  • DHA Licensed or with valid eligibility letter
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Experience : 4+ years with accreditation from a recognized Medical Board
  • Desired industry : Medical
  • Physically fit to carry out duties
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations

    Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
