Job summary

NMC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Nursing Assistant to deliver safe, timely patient care under licensed nursing staff. You will assist with ADLs, support transfers, and help with therapy sessions while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Applicants should have a 6-month Nursing Assistant course or nursing degree with license considerations, English communication skills, and BLS certification. Arabic is desirable; a willingness to work across departments is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Certification in Nursing Assistant (6-month course) or nursing graduate without local license.
• One year of healthcare experience.
• Willingness to work across departments as needed.
• American Heart Association BLS qualification required.
• Clear English communication (spoken and written).
• Desirable: ability to communicate in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care and service under supervision to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and reflect the chain of command.
• Assist with activities of daily living under licensed nursing staff supervision.
• Support escort of patients within the clinical setting.
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment for recovery.
• Report changes in patients’ condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist in therapy sessions as directed by professionals.
• Stock rooms and ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Respond promptly to emergencies following policies and procedures.

Education

Certification in Nursing Assistant (minimum 6-month course)

Nursing graduate without a home country license

One year working experience in a healthcare environment

American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider qualification

English communication skills (spoken and written)

Arabic language skills (desirable)
