Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi seeks a dedicated nursing assistant to provide patient-centered care under the supervision of an RN. The candidate should have a Diploma of Nursing (18+ months), a current National License, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS are welcomed. Minimum 2 years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar health setting.
• Diploma of Nursing (not less than 18 months) and Current National License and BLS.
• ACLS, PALS relevant to the area of specialty are desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist in activities of daily living and patient care per the care plan.
• Report changes in patient condition to an RN immediately.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with patients and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Support administrative duties and use of electronic medical records as required.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and prepared for patient visits.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and promote professional communication.
