Job summary

NMC Group is seeking an Assistant Nurse/Assistant Midwife to support nursing care at NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and document care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife. English communication and collaboration across departments are essential.

Essential licensure and an American Heart Association BLS card are required. Experience in inter-professional teams and proficiency in Arabic are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate license to work as an assistant nurse/assistant midwife with the relevant regulatory health authority.
• Manage their own professional re-licensure.
• Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the activities of daily living for patients per the patient care plan.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain a patient-centered approach.
• Document care and vital signs in the official record.
• Observe, report changes in patient condition and respond per policies.
• Support discharge planning, scheduling follow-up and referrals as required.
• Maintain flow of documents for scanning and record-keeping.
