Job summary

NMC Health plc is seeking an Admissions Representative in Abu Dhabi to interview patients, collect information, and prepare data for hospital departments. You will confirm ad admitting privileges, liaise on insurance matters, and ensure accurate patient records in Meditech.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree with MS Office and typing skills, English fluency, and at least two years in healthcare. Arabic is a bonus. Experience in admissions or patient services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree with MS Office knowledge and typing skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic desirable not mandatory.
• Prior experience in an Admissions office or patient service area.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Admits patients by receiving bookings from physicians and entering information.
• Liaises with Scheduling to validate insurance cover for scheduled patients.
• Pre-registers patients on Meditech and prepares chart for admission.
• Collects payments and co-payments at admission and issues receipts.
• Ensure compliance with OSH and infection control policies.
• Participate in shift roster to provide coverage in admissions.
