Job Summary :

The Pastry Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring the creation and delivery of exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods to exceed the expectations of our guests, and ensuring hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen to maintain food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the consistency of various preparations within the kitchen to ensure quality and adherence to standard recipes.
  • Manage and supervise the pastry kitchen team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure proper levels of par stocks and supplies according to daily production sheets, menus, and banquets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, complying with health department regulations.
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
  • Prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to pastry kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
