The role requires maintaining strict hygiene, managing ingredients and equipment, and presenting dishes attractively. Ideal candidates have at least five years in pastry kitchens, knowledge of pastries, cakes and ice creams, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Former pastry kitchen experience required or strongly demonstrated.
• Knowledge of pastries, cakes, ice creams and related desserts.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Formal culinary education desirable but not essential if proven by experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in presentation.

As a Pastry Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing pastries and other desserts according to the recipes provided by the Head Chef. Additionally, you’ll need to ensure that all dishes are presented in the most appealing way possible.
