Job summary

India Abroad Publications Inc. is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join the Khalifah A City kitchen in the UAE. The role focuses on pastry and baking excellence in a fast-paced environment, with a monthly salary of 1,000 AED and a willingness to consider immigrant candidates.

The candidate will prepare pastries, maintain equipment, supervise staff, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Flexible conditions and growth opportunities are offered within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker in a professional kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and tools including mixers, ovens, pans, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality pastries, cakes, and other desserts for customers.
• Utilize recipes or create new recipes to ensure the highest quality of food.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and stored properly.
• Work closely with other chefs or food preparation workers to coordinate meal preparation activities.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while preparing food.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and order more when needed.
• Supervise kitchen staff in their daily tasks to ensure that the job is done efficiently.
• Follow food hygiene standards at all times when preparing meals.
