Job summary

India Abroad in Ajman, UAE is seeking a Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. You will craft pastries and desserts following Head Chef recipes, and ensure high-quality presentation.

The role requires maintaining strict hygiene, managing ingredients and equipment, and presenting dishes attractively. Ideal candidates have at least five years in pastry kitchens, knowledge of pastries, cakes and ice creams, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Former pastry kitchen experience required or strongly demonstrated.
• Knowledge of pastries, cakes, ice creams and related desserts.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Formal culinary education desirable but not essential if proven by experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries and desserts according to Head Chef recipes.
• Maintain high kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage stocks of ingredients, tools and equipment.
