Job Brief/Purpose

Reporting to the Head Chef, the role involves supporting TRV's vision by providing high-quality, innovative, and simple food, with a focus on the smooth operation of the BOH pastry section.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Possess good experience in French pastries.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and work as directed.
  • Ensure all preparations meet Trouvaille standards.
  • Assist with the preparation, presentation, and decoration of pastry dishes.
  • Control wastage through proper planning and daily leveling.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and report to the Head Chef.
  • Maintain safety and hygiene standards in all work areas.
  • Maintain personal equipment used for work.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Check refrigerator and freezer stocks for availability and condition.
  • Take precautions against spoilage.
  • Prepare food according to standard recipes.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in a five-star hotel or standalone restaurant.
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent physical fitness.
