Salary :AED 1800 – 2000 with food while on duty
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate chef to create delicious dishes at Soul Santé Cafe, a reputed vegan Café based in Dubai. The chosen candidate will play a key role in crafting and delivering tasty cuisine, providing an exceptional dining experience for our esteemed guests.

Responsibilities

· Preparing a variety of dishes

· Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.

· Planning the menu, considering the budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.

· Coordinating with kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.

· Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients

· Modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests

Being able to manage the portion size of foods
· Monitor food stock and place orders

· Training other chefs and managing the quality of the dishes being prepared

· Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items

· Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients

· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

· Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales

· Developing menus and menu design, ensuring they abide nutritional standards and allergen description requirements

Requirements

· Proven work experience as a chef or cook

· Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)

· Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Leadership skills

· Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks

· Familiarity with sanitation regulations
