ADNOC School – Sas Al Nakhl in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Vice Principal (Pastoral) to lead pastoral care from KG through Grade 12, with an immediate start. The role demands strategic thinking, visible leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement across the Board, parents, teachers and Principals.

Successful candidates will show performance in international settings, strong communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and UAE education vision.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education or BA with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
Master’s degree in Education.
Proficiency in Arabic and English would be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience managing College Board Programming.
Minimum 6 years’ educational experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the vision and strategic direction of the school.
Set a clear vision and action plan for designated areas as allocated by the Principal.
Demonstrate measurable impact in areas led with sustained results.
Enhance learning/teaching quality through strategic responsibilities.
Foster an inclusive community ethos and strong parent-student partnerships.
