We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team and support our counter sales operations. This role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate parts information and maintaining efficient inventory control within our automotive division.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers and provide professional assistance.
• Advise customers on part numbers, prices, and availability.
• Offer expert guidance on part usage, care, and related specialized products or services.
• Prepare detailed parts estimates and quotations.
• Follow the credit terms and procedures for Parts Dealers Network.
• Understand and communicate return, warranty, and delivery policies to customers and technicians.
• Generate Parts Delivery Orders and Sales Invoices accurately.
• Assist in creating appealing accessories displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep and update sales records to support inventory control.
• Utilize computerized inventory systems for record-keeping and reordering.
• Prepare and monitor the Loss Sales Report.
• Coordinate with the Ordering Section to fulfill customer parts requests, ensuring timely delivery and lead-time tracking.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Parts Sales Supervisor or Procurement & Stores Manager.
Requirements
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Material Management or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar automotive parts advisory or sales role.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
• Software: Computer literate with strong skills in computerized warehouse and inventory systems.
