Manage a global financial partnerships portfolio including cobrand, points exchange, prepaid and fintech programmes. Lead the day-to-day relationships and be the primary point of contact in Skywards for the global financial partners within the given portfolio. Deliver against annual budget through targeted acquisition and spend activation strategies and launching new partners in strategic markets. Contribute to Skywards member base engagement, Skywards Partnerships revenue and profit targets, and commercial airline revenue.
What you will do:
- Identify new global financial co-brand partners which Skywards could engage with to deliver its strategic objectives. This will include assessment and on-boarding activities such as scoping requirements, managing requests for proposals and evaluating new partners.
- Manage negotiations with partners to secure commercial and operational terms that maximise value to Skywards and the partnerships, ensuring aligned objectives between all parties, and prepare business cases to secure internal approvals. Work closely with Legal, systems, finance, and other internal departments to coordinate contracting including due diligence and system infrastructure set-up, ensuring Partnerships Framework and Skywards PMO process is followed.
- Use data analytics to identify, plan and develop spend activation and acquisition strategies, in close collaboration with partners, to continuously drive global financial partnerships revenue. Manage partner planning activities on an annual and quarterly basis, agreeing targets and review partner performance to identify opportunities for growth. Work with Partnerships Activation team to build annual calendar of activities.
- Own the design of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions for the global financial partners portfolio. Work closely with Skywards data analytics team to develop and maintain these.
- Manage the global financial partnerships at an operational level to ensure smooth running: this will include following up on all service failures, accounting and reconciliation issues, fraudulent activities, problem solving and liaising with relevant departments within Emirates and the partner organisation to swiftly resolve all operational and customer service problems which are related to the partners accounts.
- Lead any contract discussions with active partners that may arise during the term of the agreement, including commercial, product and data clauses.
- Manage, coach, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff. Conduct regular performance management reviews ensuring that objectives and development plans are set out and provide regular feedback to team members and management.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practice; research developments on competitor sites, identifying valuable features and analyse new possibilities.
