Job summary

Elevate is looking for an outstanding Partnership Manager to join our award winning team, working for one of the most prestigious rights holders in the UAE.

This position will play a key role in managing our client's sport and cultural sponsorships, working closely with our client to create, evaluate, and design exceptional partnership and activation programs, leveraging best in class sponsorship practices to deliver award winning campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4-8 years of agency or client based sponsorship account management experience.
• Football experience is preferred/is a plus.
• League/team experience and understanding of sports business, media, and sponsorship is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day sponsorship activations.
• Coordinate with Commercial team, client, and agencies to support sponsorship initiatives.
• Develop and implement sponsorship initiatives, including customised programs.
• Manage sponsorship measurement and ROI processes with partners.
• Coordinate client vendor relationships and activation deliverables.
• Prepare marketing activation presentations and materials for client and agencies.
• Interface with internal creative team to ensure brand consistency.
• Liaise with other agencies and Elevate divisions as needed.
• Support sponsorship tactical implementation at events.
• Manage client property approvals.
• Participate in sponsorship contract negotiations.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This position will play a key role in managing our client's sport and cultural sponsorships, working closely with our client to create, evaluate, and design exceptional partnership and activation programs, leveraging best in class sponsorship practices to deliver award winning campaigns.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Partnership Manager will manage the day-to-day partnership activations of a client's sponsorships.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's sports and cultural sponsorships.


• Interface with other Commercial team members, the client, and all appropriate agencies/properties to support sponsorship initiatives.


• Participate in the development and implementation of sponsorship initiatives, including customised programs and promotions.


• Help manage the sponsorship measurement and return on investment process in conjunction with all programs and partners.


• Manage client vendor relationships and coordinate necessary activation deliverables on behalf of the client.


• Assist with the creation and implementation of materials to support the sponsorship initiative. This will include preparing marketing activation presentations and materials to be distributed to the client, agencies, and other counterparts.


• Interface with and manage the internal creative team, writing creative briefs, assisting with the preparation of creative presentations, and ensuring that the client's brand is accurately represented.


• Liaise/interface with other agencies and internal Elevate divisions as necessary.


• Support sponsorship tactical implementation and coordination at all events where agency staff is needed.


• Manage the client property approvals process on behalf of the client.


• Participate in sponsorship contract negotiations.

Note: Semi frequent travel is required, including some weekends for client events.

CRITERIA

We are looking for someone who is excited by the prospect of working on award winning sponsorship accounts and passionate about being part of a high performing team and being integral to our agency. You are also confident, motivated, have excellent attention to detail, and are looking forward to working in the industry.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.


• 4-8 years of agency or client based sponsorship account management experience.


• Specific disciplines could include sponsorship marketing, event marketing, and/or sponsor servicing.


• Football specific experience is preferred/is a plus.


• League/team experience and an understanding of the business of sports, sports media, and sports marketing/sponsorship is highly preferred.


• Ability to manage the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy on behalf of clients or companies.


• Ability to manage day to day relationships with clients, agencies, and vendors


• Experience with on site event marketing operations and logistics.


• Experience working with internal teams (account/creative) as well as other agency partners.
