Job description

A fast-growing international law firm with strong roots in Asia is expanding into the Middle East to meet rising demand for high-calibre legal services. They are currently seeking a multilingual Partner to spearhead their business development and marketing efforts in the UAE, with a focus on commercial disputes and international arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Identify and capitalise on business opportunities within the UAE region
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and regional influencers.
  • Identify new areas of growth, drive client acquisition, and expand regional presence.

Marketing & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to raise the firm’s profile across the UAE.
  • Organise and participate in events, networking forums, and thought leadership initiatives to position the firm as a leader in the market.
  • Collaborate with the central marketing and BD teams to deliver impactful content and campaigns.

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring high standards of service, trust, and retention.
  • Tailor the firm’s offerings to client needs and promote relevant capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English; proficiency in Russian, Arabic, and/or Farsi would be an advantage.
  • Common law qualified (preferably England & Wales), with a solid background in commercial disputes and international arbitration.
  • Demonstrated track record in business development and marketing, ideally within legal or other professional services sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for commercial opportunities.
