Job Description

As a Partner Business Development Specialist (PBDS) for CAI, you will be part of a global team focusing on Cisco partners in the EMEA region, particularly in Middle East & Africa (MEA). Your role involves enabling partners on Cisco's Cloud and AI Infrastructure architecture, driving solution innovation, and supporting practice building in alignment with architectural and solution strategies. You will collaborate with Cisco Account Managers, Systems Engineers, Technical Leaders, Sales Managers, and Partners to plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations/demos, and close business.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with the Partner Account Manager (PAM) to manage relationships for Cloud and AI architecture with strategic partners.
  • Drive growth and new business opportunities within specified partner sets by developing and executing comprehensive business plans for Cloud and AI architecture.
  • Engage with partners at the executive level to support business growth and competency building around Cisco's CAI portfolio.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Conferences (EBCs) with partner executives, translating outcomes into actionable improvements with clear milestones.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with CAI leadership, supporting multiple market segments with varied go-to-market models.
  • Develop and support key initiatives such as executive relationships, practice building, partner enablement, profitability, sales training, pipeline development, opportunity identification, marketing, and demand generation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Management-related fields with 8+ years of relevant experience in field Sales/Business Development (e.g., direct, channels).
  • Experience articulating architecture solutions to CxO decision makers from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Compute, Data Center Networking, and AI solutions, with certifications in Cloud/AI/GenAI courses preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and implementing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and growing revenue for innovative technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco's CAI product portfolio (hardware and software), especially in partner-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of the AI market landscape and experience working with partners and distributors in the region.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable working in a driven environment.
  • Teamwork experience within complex matrix organizations.
  • Fluency in Arabic language.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
