Job summary

مجتمع الكتابة is seeking a part-time Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor systems and networks for security events, analyze alerts, and investigate incidents. You will assess vulnerabilities and support security controls while collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

In this remote role based in Dubai, you will document findings, prepare reports, and help ensure compliance with security standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong cybersecurity and information security skills including risk management and incident response.
• Network security knowledge: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, secure network architectures.
• Application security familiarity: secure coding, vulnerabilities, code/config review.
• Cyber threat analysis: recognizing attack patterns, malware behavior, emerging threats.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH are beneficial.
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) and ticketing systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills; able to work remotely.
• Degree or coursework in CS, Info Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
