The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses and contribute to a dynamic, cosmopolitan campus community.

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Music or a closely related field, demonstrate knowledge of Western and Arab music traditions, with prior university teaching experience

The College of Arts, Education and Social Sciences (CAESS) provides general education courses for all undergraduate students, in addition to a portfolio of specialized undergraduate and postgraduate programs in education and social sciences: BA in Psychology, BA in International Relations, BA in Mass Communication (Arabic and English), BA in Video Game Design, Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Teaching (English), Med in Educational Technologies and AI, MA in Digital Communication and Technology, MEd in Educational Leadership, Ph.D. in Education, and MA in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Music, Musicology, Ethnomusicology, Music Education, or a closely related field, demonstrate strong knowledge of both Western and Arab music traditions, and preferably have prior university-level teaching experience; strong communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
