Job description

As a Paralegal at our regional office, you will support the legal team by managing documentation, conducting research, and assisting with various legal and administrative tasks. Your role will be essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing legal documents, and providing vital support in contract management and corporate governance. You will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate legal processes, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, timely, and meets the company's high standards.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  2. Conduct research on legal and regulatory matters relevant to the company's operations in the region.
  3. Support the legal team in managing compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  4. Maintain and update corporate records, including resolutions, board minutes, and other key documents.
  5. Track and manage contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals and identifying any compliance issues.
  6. Prepare documentation and liaise with external counsel for litigation and regulatory filings.
  7. Organize and maintain legal files and databases for easy access and retrieval.
  8. Conduct initial document reviews to identify any issues or discrepancies, escalating to legal counsel as needed.
  9. Assist with due diligence processes, document preparation, and administrative support for corporate transactions.
  10. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain and provide information for legal and compliance matters.
  11. Prepare summaries, reports, and other documentation to keep the legal team and management informed of ongoing matters.
  12. Assist in the drafting and review of routine legal correspondence and documents.
  13. Support the legal team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing travel arrangements as needed.
