Overview of the role:

To ensure that assigned paint repair jobs are executed in line with Principle’s established work procedures and specifications, time standards, and housekeeping standards so that productivity and quality objectives are met or exceeded.

What you will do:

1. Execute assigned jobs according to principle’s established work procedures, specifications, and time standards.
2. Provide quality workmanship for customer satisfaction and minimize repeat jobs, which lead to loss of time and materials.
3. Comply with the ALAC Quality Management System and participate in organization’s improvement activities.
4. Ensure safety and cleanliness:

• Use safety equipment/gear and follow all safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workplace, tools, equipment, and the customer’s car being serviced.
• Carry out work carefully to prevent endangering lives or harming the environment, complying with health and safety requirements.

Plan and schedule work effectively when assigned multiple jobs.

Perform other tasks as assigned by immediate superiors or managers, contributing to team efforts and accomplishing related results as needed.

Required skills to be successful:

1. Experience in spray painting and color mixing from a reputed automotive workshop.
2. Ability to carry out paint preparation as per required standards.
3. Ability to identify problem areas and determine solutions.
4. Ability to follow global automotive workshop instructions and procedures.

About The Team:

The role reports to the Team Leader / Foreman and involves working in a busy workshop environment.

1. SSC/Trade certificate or Vocational Training.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed automotive workshop in a similar role.
