We are seeking a highly experienced Packaging Platform Director OMNI Channels to lead the strategic design, delivery, and optimization of mission-critical business applications within our modern Online Travel Agency (OTA) and B2B ecosystem. In this leadership role, you will oversee OMNI channel integration across B2C, B2B, B2B2C, API channel manager integration, and digital self-service experiences.
You will be instrumental in driving technology transformation, project prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the organization's technological capabilities. You will have the accountability to re-shape technology capabilities and remove technological frictions by providing a reliable, consistent, and scalable technical framework & support for a 2-sided marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment
- Lead the design, delivery, and optimization of business-critical applications and digital platforms.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance business performance.
- Align technology solutions with organizational goals and prioritize high-impact projects.
Business Requirement Management & Technology Upgrades
- Work closely with business teams to define and document product roadmaps & requirements.
- Oversee technology upgrades and system migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruptions.
Release & Project Management
- Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company policies.
- Define and oversee a structured release schedule for technology solutions.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs and performance expectations are met.
- Act as the primary negotiator to maximize ROI on technology investments.
- Collaborate with internal legal and procurement teams to identify dependencies and risks.
Product Development & Innovation
- Organize and lead various product workshops, designing effective strategies for product development within the OTA landscape.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and services, recommending new products and enhancements.
- Drive long-term plans and strategies to enhance the organizational technology landscape to maximize revenue and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and define innovative solutions.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Hold team members accountable and drive continuous improvement.
Service & Operational Excellence
- Ensure efficient handling of service requests and incidents, minimizing downtime.
- Provide guidance on API integration, channel management, and best practices.
- Maintain a stable, scalable, and reliable digital infrastructure.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Technology or Business Administration.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing an OMNI channel strategy, supporting the launch and maintenance of products that drive revenue growth.
- Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience within the Technology, Service, Tourism, or Hospitality Industry.
- 5+ years of experience in Application Management.
- 3 years of project management and platform migration experience (preferable)
- Strong project and change management skills with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Expertise in developing and articulating OMNI channel user journeys.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex, ambiguous business challenges into actionable solutions.
- Solid understanding of online marketplaces, automation, and technology-driven supply sourcing and distribution.
- Proven ability to motivate, lead, and influence teams at all levels while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Experience in business process improvement to align with IT implementations.
- Ability to identify business operational challenges and implement technical solutions.
- Strong adaptability to emerging technologies, industry practices, and trends.
