Job summary

Henkel GCC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks an R&D Packaging Lab Technician to lead development of innovative packaging solutions. You will support cross-functional teams, apply CAD skills to create 2D/3D drawings, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, sustainability initiatives, and staying current with new packaging technologies while engaging with consumers to translate feedback into impactful packaging improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with packaging materials: plastics, polymers, paper, sustainable options.
• Knowledge of lab testing standards and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in CAD to develop 2D/3D drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with laboratory testing standards, packaging performance evaluation, and quality control procedures.
• Experience in laboratory equipment handling, testing procedures, and equipment management.

• Knowledge of sustainability principles, recyclability, and circular economy practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
