Job description

For this very well-respected and highly visible group of companies, we are seeking an extremely professional and experienced Personal Assistant to assist the group Chairman. A market leader in the region, my client is one of the UAE’s leading holding companies with interests in financial, industrial, property development, general trading, and oil & gas sectors, and they pride themselves on the excellent working environment they provide for their employees.

Providing executive level PA support working for the Chairman, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day schedules of his extremely busy diary. You will be involved in complex and ever-changing diary management, travel management, and personal administration. You will be privy to large amounts of confidential information that will circulate from Board and Executive Management Committee meetings. This role incorporates large amounts of responsibility as you will be the first point of contact to the Chairman's office, ensuring the Chairman's day is optimized to the maximum.

The role will suit an enthusiastic, strategic, and proactive individual who is ultimately a strong team player. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, offering creative solutions and managing day-to-day operations within the Chairman's Office. You will also have a high level of accuracy in your work, be calm and professional at all times as you will be required to analyze important information and update the Chairman as and when required. Possessing advanced MS Office skills and open communication as well as a polished and professional approach, this role would only suit a candidate seeking to move from supporting a senior manager previously.

To be considered for the role, candidates must possess a high school diploma and have had at least three years of administrative support experience at senior management level, preferably within a multinational professional services environment.
