P2P Regional Operations Manager (MENA & Africa)

Job Responsibilities:

• Market Strategy & Growth: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, user behaviors, and competitive landscape in the Africa & MENA region. Develop and implement regional operation strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
• Operational Execution: Collaborate with the BD team and local partners to optimize business plans, refine operational policies, and support product development to meet regional needs.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve operational efficiency through data-driven strategies, including traffic acquisition, user segmentation, and engagement initiatives.
• Campaign & Community Engagement: Design and execute promotional campaigns tailored to regional users, including incentive programs, partnerships, and community-driven activities, to boost adoption and transaction volume.
• Merchant & User Management: Oversee P2P merchant verification, provide operational support, and address merchant-related issues to enhance the user experience and maintain platform integrity.
• Risk & Compliance Coordination: Work closely with compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to local regulations, mitigate fraud risks, and maintain a secure trading environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, legal, and customer support teams, to drive seamless execution of operational initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of operational experience, preferably in fintech, payment solutions, or cryptocurrency P2P trading. Experience in growth hacking and regional expansion is a plus.
• Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Africa & MENA P2P and OTC trading landscape, user behavior, and regulatory environment.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to leverage insights for strategic decision-making.
• Communication & Language::Fluent in English and Chinese
• Adaptability & Leadership: Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive mindset to drive regional success.
