Qualifications

Job description

  • Toinspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems on fleet tugs, pilot boats, and mooring boats.
  • To perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • To install, test, and commission new electrical equipment.
  • To ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • To keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • To collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • To provide support on day and night shift to address and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • To maintain high standards of housekeeping in workshop and P&OML base.
  • To ensure all measurement equipment and toolsare in working condition and available when required.
  • To carry out duties without direct supervision, when necessary, thereby ensuring smooth flow of marine operations.

Qualification & Experience

  • Class I or II Marine Electrician certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
  • Use of measurement tools with calibration equipment and interpretation of result.
