Job summary

PeopleStrong in Dubai is seeking a P&M Superintendent to lead plant and machinery operations for complex construction projects, including deep excavation and station works. You will drive strategy to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted execution across all shifts.

Oversee deployment and maintenance of cranes, dewatering systems, heavy lifting equipment, and concrete pumps; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements; plan maintenance to minimize downtime;

Qualifications

• SSC required.
• Experience leading plant and machinery operations in construction.

P&M Superintendent is responsible for leading the plant and machinery operations strategy to ensure efficient, safe and uninterrupted execution of construction activities, particularly for deep excavation and station works. The role involves overseeing the deployment, utilization and maintenance of critical equipment such as cranes, dewatering systems, heavy lifting equipment, concrete pumps and other support machinery to ensure optimal availability across all shifts. The superintendent ensures strict compliance with safety standards, operational procedures and regulatory requirements while minimizing equipment downtime through effective planning and coordination of maintenance activities. Additionally, the role includes monitoring machinery performance, managing resources, coordinating with site teams and implementing proactive measures to enhance productivity, reliability and overall project efficiency.
