Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Safety Superintendent to lead the HSE management system across site operations in Dubai. The role involves planning and supervising safety strategies for high-risk activities and ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.

The incumbent will conduct inspections, guide safety teams, review risk assessments, and ensure effective communication of safety requirements across all levels of site personnel, aiming to minimize operational risks.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate (SSC) is required.
• It is desirable to have knowledge of HSE standards and risk control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall HSE management system across site operations.
• Plan, implement and supervise safety strategies for high risk activities (excavation, temporary works, confined spaces, heavy lifting, pours, MEP fit-out).
• Ensure coordinated safety enforcement across multiple shifts and promote adherence to procedures.
• Conduct high level inspections, guide safety teams, review risk assessments and method statements.
• Communicate safety requirements effectively to all levels of site personnel.
• Maintain a safe working environment and minimize operational risks.

The superintendent ensures coordinated safety enforcement across multiple shifts, promoting consistent adherence to procedures and proactive risk control throughout station construction activities. Additionally, the role includes conducting high level inspections, guiding safety teams, reviewing risk assessments and method statements and ensuring effective communication of safety requirements across all levels of site personnel. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential to maintain a safe working environment and minimize operational risks.
