Our Science Department is a collaborative and high-performing team of 12, including three dedicated technicians, with teachers working predominantly within their subject specialisms. Students follow Oxford International AQA GCSE and A-Level courses across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, supported by strong practical provision and a focus on scientific knowledge, application and problem-solving. The department celebrates excellent examination outcomes, including 100% Grade 5–9 in GCSE Biology and 100% A*–B in A-Level Biology and Physics. Beyond the classroom, initiatives such as Science GEMS, competitions and collaborative events with sister schools provide exciting opportunities to inspire curiosity and enrich students' learning.
