Job summary

Healthpoint, part of the M42 group in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a qualified nurse to deliver high-quality individualized care in line with Dubai Health Authority standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, with a focus on safety and family-centered support.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, 2+ years of post-qualification experience, and valid UAE nursing licensure with BLS certification. This position is based on-site at Healthpoint Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is the minimum requirement.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Current nursing license from country of origin is required.
• UAE Medical License holder is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nursing assessments and evaluations per guidelines.
• Provide holistic patient care and coordinate with families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to best practices.
• Utilize and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Document and communicate care plans and patient transitions.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout admission to discharge.

The role is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with Dubai Health Authority and organization policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Initial Nursing Assessments: Perform thorough patient evaluations according to clinical guidelines and facilitate necessary medical referrals.
• Provide Holistic Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care while considering cultural and socioeconomic factors.
• Administer Medications & Treatments: Manage and administer medications, including vaccines, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Ensure Patient Safety & Best Practices: Promote a safe healthcare environment by following clinical guidelines, policies, and best evidence-based practices.
• Utilize & Maintain Medical Equipment & Supplies: Efficiently manage clinical equipment, material resources, and medical store monitoring.
• Document & Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and accurate records, escalte care when needed, and facilitate seamless patient transitions.
• Educate & Support Patients and Families: Implement patient education plans from admission to discharge, ensuring safety, care management, and preventive health measures.
