Job summary

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Bar Team Leader to join the Hidden Bar initiative. Reporting to the Assistant Beverage Manager, you will lead service, uphold Rosewood and LQA standards, and inspire the team with your passion for gin, spirits and hospitality.

You will drive beverage excellence, deliver coaching, manage inventory and collaborate on menus, promotions and revenue initiatives to deliver elevated guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in premium bars or luxury hotel beverage environments.
• Passion for gin, spirits and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong coaching and people-development skills.
• Experience managing beverage costs, inventory and standards.
• Solid understanding of F&B service and current beverage trends.
• Fluent English; additional languages or beverage certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hidden Bar team during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and compliance with Rosewood and LQA standards.
• Drive beverage sales through expert recommendations, upselling opportunities and promotion of gin, spirits and digestifs.
• Build strong relationships with guests and develop programs that encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
• Manage inventory, stock control, spoilage monitoring and beverage requisitions to support operational efficiency.
• Deliver gin and spirits education sessions for bar and front-of-house teams in partnership with suppliers.
• Support beverage menu development, promotions and revenue initiatives in collaboration with the Assistant Beverage Manager.

YOUR ROLE

• Knowledge of food and beverage service and current beverage industry trends.
• Fluent communication in English; additional language skills and beverage certifications are an advantage.
