Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi's Hidden Bar is seeking a Bar Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations, supervise the team, ensure beverage quality and manage stock while driving revenue growth for the venue.

You will work closely with the Assistant Beverage Manager to deliver training, enhance beverage offerings, and build strong guest relationships that foster loyalty and repeat visits. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

THE TEAM

The Food & Beverage team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences through innovative concepts, expert product knowledge, and intuitive service. Hidden Bar is a distinctive destination where craftsmanship, storytelling, and guest engagement come together to create memorable moments for every guest.

As Bar Team Leader, you will report to the Assistant Beverage Manager and play a key role in leading the Hidden Bar team, driving beverage excellence, and delivering elevated guest experiences through your passion for gin, spirits, and hospitality.

YOUR ROLE

As a Bar Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of Hidden Bar, supporting team performance, beverage quality, inventory management, and revenue growth. You will act as a brand ambassador for the venue, using your expertise in gin and premium beverages to create engaging guest experiences while developing the knowledge and confidence of the wider team.

You will work closely with the Assistant Beverage Manager to enhance beverage offerings, deliver training initiatives, manage stock control, and build strong guest relationships that drive loyalty and repeat business.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead the Hidden Bar team during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and compliance with Rosewood and LQA standards
• Drive beverage sales through expert recommendations, upselling opportunities, and promotion of gin, spirits, and digestifs
• Build strong relationships with guests and develop programs that encourage loyalty and repeat visits
• Manage inventory, stock control, spoilage monitoring, and beverage requisitions to support operational efficiency
• Deliver gin and spirits education sessions for bar and front-of-house teams in partnership with suppliers
• Support beverage menu development, promotions, and revenue initiatives in collaboration with the Assistant Beverage Manager

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have leadership experience within a premium bar, luxury hotel, or upscale beverage-focused venue
• You are passionate about gin, spirits, mixology, and creating memorable guest experiences
• You possess strong team leadership skills and enjoy coaching and developing others
• You have experience managing inventory, beverage costs, and operational standards
• You are knowledgeable about food and beverage service and current beverage industry trends
• You communicate fluently in English; additional language skills and beverage certifications are an advantage
