We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Finance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

Responsibilities

As an Outlet Cashier, you are responsible for the cashier’s house fund and its safekeeping. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for every food & beverage sale in the outlet.
  2. Ensuring that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for any meals consumed by employees or any service offered to guests as complimentary or entertainment.
  3. Entering opening and closing check numbers used during your shift in the Night Auditor's logbook, ensuring checks are used serially and all are accounted for.
  4. Opening guest checks in the POS system, punching orders, splitting and transferring tables, and settling checks as cash, room charge, credit card, or city ledger.
  5. Preparing cashier’s summary and tallying it with Micros (POS) reading at the end of your shift.
  6. Printing and tallying transaction lists from credit card machines with physical checks and Micros readings.
  7. Preparing deposit envelopes, recording deposit amounts on the cashier’s deposit sheet, and depositing them in the Front Office safe depository in the presence of a witness who signs the witness column.
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should have a diploma or degree in hotel management or accounting, with previous experience in a hotel environment. Good English communication skills and computer literacy are essential. Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset.
