Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Prompt and courteous delivery of all orders, maintaining a positive image through all guest contact and cleanliness of guest areas.
  2. Ensure total guest satisfaction in the service of food and beverage through supervision of prompt and courteous delivery of all restaurant and room service orders.
  3. During shifts, ensure guest satisfaction by assisting with serving, seating, communication with kitchen, and engaging with all guests.
  4. Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well-trained staff.
  5. Open and close shifts according to the Manager's Checklist.
  6. Train, maintain, and enforce all Anantara Service Standards.
  7. Properly execute revenue and check control procedures during shifts.
  8. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates and guests.
  9. Gather and implement tools for running shifts (e.g., schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
  10. Find solutions for daily problems such as call outs, last-minute bookings, etc.
  11. Be on the floor during the entire meal period to ensure adequate coverage.
  12. Ensure only quality products are served.
  13. Maintain proper associate uniform standards.
  14. Manage repair and maintenance programs through work orders and inspections.
  15. Implement station rotation to ensure fair distribution of stations and handle daily associate relations (e.g., scheduling, time adjustments).
  16. Assist associates in job performance and implement training programs for new and current staff.
  17. Encourage problem-solving through proper training and empowerment to ensure guest satisfaction.
  18. Establish effective communication with associates to gain trust and respect, maintaining fair counseling and disciplinary procedures per company policy.
  19. Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and operational improvements.
