The candidate will focus on client acquisition and relationship building in the men's textile market, specifically promoting kandora fabrics with strong cultural understanding and expertise.

Qualifications

Job description

  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop and expand a customer base of local clients, retailers, and boutiques focused on traditional Emirati wear, particularly kandora fabrics.
  • Outdoor Sales: Actively conduct field visits across UAE and GCC to generate leads, manage accounts, and close sales – UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Emirati fabrics, including cotton, Japanese, and synthetic blends used in kandora, to guide customers effectively.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated with market trends, seasonal preferences, and competitor strategies in traditional men’s textiles.
  • Customer Service: Deliver personalized consultation, ensuring clients understand the quality, durability, and cultural value of the fabrics offered.
  • Relationship Building: Establish long-term relationships with buyers and decision-makers in fabric shops, tailoring houses, and clothing boutiques.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client feedback, and market insights, reporting regularly to sales management.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a cultural ambassador for the Perasto brand, promoting the authenticity and quality of kandora fabrics to the local and regional Arab clientele.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Nationality: Only native Arabic speakers (GCC or Levant region preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in sales within the men’s textile industry, specifically in kandora fabrics.
  • Cultural Understanding: Strong knowledge of Emirati dress customs and fabric preferences.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; English is a plus.
  • Driving License: Must possess a valid UAE driving license for conducting outdoor sales across the Emirates.
  • Client Portfolio: Preference for candidates with an existing customer network in UAE or GCC.
  • Sales Skills: High energy, confident, target-driven with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
