A leading healthcare institution in the UAE is seeking an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The role involves assessing patient abilities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and documenting patient progress. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients functional abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment sessions.
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Occupational Therapy or Nursing with specialization in occupational therapy.
Valid license or registration with relevant healthcare authorities.
Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably in a specialized or rehabilitation environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
