OT & IT 2nd-Line Support Engineer – SCADA & OT Systems

Job summary

ENOC in Dubai seeks a capable IT/OT professional to provide second line application support and drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of OT and IT solutions. You will maintain knowledge bases, coordinate with vendors, and ensure rapid restoration of services.

The role requires 2–5 years in IT, strong SCADA/OT exposure, and familiarity with SDLC models. A broad industrial background (Oil & Gas, Utilities) is preferred, with on‑site availability in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 2-5 years in Information Technology
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Retail, Government industries preferred
• Experience with SDLC methods: waterfall, iterative, agile, V-Model
• Excellent knowledge of SCADA and OT systems
• Hands-on OT cybersecurity exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line application support
• Restore normal service quickly and meet SLAs
• Communicate effectively with customers, teams and vendors
• Maintain and share a knowledge base to reduce single points of failure
• Assist in design, delivery and improvement of applications and systems
• On-call 24x7 to support business or IT operations
• Coordinate patches with Infrastructure and application teams
• Support OT systems like TAS, ATG, and ERP data exchanges
